SOMEHO

Distinctive character, down to the details

Branding for restaurants.

Your restaurant has a character of its own. The question is whether guests recognise it everywhere. We turn your story into a visual identity that fits your food, space and ambitions. For a new opening or an established name ready for its next chapter.

What to expect

  • A clear direction for your brand
  • A cohesive visual identity
  • Practical materials for your team

The details

A restaurant brand that feels right.

A logo does not stand alone. It appears on a menu, a frontage, your website and the imagery you share. We make sure those choices form a recognisable whole.

  1. Brand story and direction

We clarify what makes your restaurant distinctive, who it is for and how you want to be seen. That story becomes the starting point for design choices.

  2. Visual identity

Colour, typography, logo and image style are considered together. We decide which elements need to be created and which existing ones retain their value.

  3. Menus and applications

We apply the identity to the agreed materials. Menus, social templates or printed pieces should be readable, useful and suited to the experience in your restaurant.

  4. Guidelines and handover

You receive the agreed files and guidance on their use, so that you, your team and the suppliers involved can work from the same visual choices.

How we work together

From character to a recognisable whole.

  1. Listen and define

We discuss the concept, your guests and the current identity. Together, we define the brief and the elements we will develop.

  2. Design and refine

We develop a visual direction and discuss it through practical applications. Your feedback helps us make focused decisions.

  3. Apply and hand over

We extend the chosen direction to the agreed materials and supply the necessary files, with clear guidance for use.

Frequently asked questions

Does our existing logo have to go?

Not necessarily. We look at what carries recognition and value. Some briefs call for a new identity; others need a more coherent use of typography, colour and applications.

Can you design a menu as a standalone project?

We can discuss that as an individual brief. We use the existing identity as a foundation and agree on the content, format and intended use. Photography or further brand development is discussed separately.

Is printing included in the project?

We distinguish design, files and production beforehand. If printed materials are needed, we discuss stock, quantities, suppliers and responsibilities before the design goes into production.

How does branding connect with our website and socials?

Those applications inform the design choices. Website production or social media management can follow as a related project, but neither is automatically included in every branding brief.
